One of the places that is a "must to go" in Manaus is one of the shops from the Glacial Ice Cream. You can find them all over the cities.. It is a must because you can try amazon fruits in the ice cream.
My favorite is the "tapioca" although "cupuaƧu" is pretty good too!
Unfortunately, just in Manaus...

Condons and Candies
I was really impressive how native indians has a special way to deal with sexuallity. I had examples from Incas or Aimaras in my last trip at Bolivie and Peru.
Reviewing Steff's photo files from Manaus and this special picture capture my atention. Is there another explaination for selling candies and condons in open streets?
Condoms are the pink package at up side.
I can send the original picture if anyone has doubts.
It is Manaus for sure, as you can see it was rainning just before the picture as it happen daily there.

What is Tacaca?
It is a special soup, typical from Amazon region, so don't expect to find this on Sao Paulo. It is made with manioc stark, jambu leaves (cousin of coca leaves) and dry shrimps. You should try this from streets... it is funnier. Not sure I liked it, but I would have another one in my next time in North of Brazil.
