Sweet life...

Brazilian cuisine is not famous for candies, usually to sweet for europeans... One book should be mentioned about brazilian pastisserie:

As doceiras.

The book is in Portuguese but the pictures are in an worldwide language.... the food lovers one.

One of the authors is Carla Pernambuco who has two restaurant in Sao Paulo:

Las Chicas - good prices for Sao Paulo, and strangely I never had a dessert there... but the Polvo Cazuela is amazing!

Carlota - I never being there.... it seems fancy, but I accept invitations of handsome bachelors to enjoy that place!

Brazilian cuisine is going beyond churrascaria anda Carla Permanbuco proves it.
