Brazilian Dressing Code

Quite hard to say it in one single sentence. The country is huge, the weather and social behavior  make the dressing code more particular from region to region.
Simple rules:
1- North regions will tolerate better short skirts or dresses.
2- South regions are colder. Internal heating is rare, so bring jackets and pullovers.
3- No flip-flops, havaianas, in any formal or semi-formal events.
4- Not too much make up or hair spray for woman.
5- Nails are perfectly done in any beauty salon for woman... lately extravaganza colors could be tested.
6- Shower daily or twice is mandatory.
7- Take a look in current brazilian soap operas.
8- Usually, we are tolerate the fashion diversity.
9- Rio dressing code is less formal than Sao Paulo.
10- Don't wear snickers on the beach.

11- Don't take anything so serious...
