Not fair giving opinion before watching a movie... so - I after a long time resisting. I enjoy Elite Squad 2 - it was far more better than I could expect. A more complex view of violence, not just the basic bad guys x good guys. How the violence network envolves political choices, economical and cultural? Let´s try a basic maths lesson=
[(cop + panic syndrome + good principles + saw too much bad guys winning + get more political view of violence + personal motivation) logistical view] x [( academical view + human rights applied in a immature way + personal motivation + good principles) political power]{poverty[ the cultural of fear + the cultural of fake protection (bad education) drugs] weak law system}
So not possible to solve, but the movie was pretty good in showing this aspects. Ohh, my mistake... I had forgot. We are talking about people with families? Again, It touched me ... for the first time I could understand why my boyfriend says:
"I want to beat that guy... I want to kill him" - when talking about the bad guys in real life. For me life is so precious and sacred in a moral level, not religious that kill someone even if he is a bad guy is awful... And It is so hard do save someone, never kills!!!!
Again, I cried in the wrong moment of the movie... it is art! It is personal!
